MSL LUNAR CENTURY

Okay, I've been collaborating with MSL regarding this project. It seems he wants to re-launch the original MSL Universe and continue with the story. I still don't know how far it will be since last time, because nothing's final yet. What I do know is, BRO has made some sketches of mobile suits appearing in the RPG. With his permission, let me give you some ideas. These are his specifications.

Prawn Variant (exact name unknown)
-Appears to be a bulky unit with a movable frame. Has claws instead of normal hands. A pair of antenna on the head, looks like electric whips. Probably a weapon.

Unidentified Gundam
-Presumably the titular mobile suit. It has no beam rifle, instead it's got a large crossbow like weapon called the Beam Arbalest. Stated to be a long range weapon with incredible accuracy, capable of shooting more than 8-9 spaces. Power is comparable to VSBR.

I wouldn't want the storyline to be far in the future, after much thought. But there is a tremendous jump in technology. If I go two hundred years into the future, the mobile suits could be tremendously powerful, so no. Maybe a decade would be enough.

The Dyson Sphere is a central plot device. It's a massive construct --- easily the size of the moon. It's purpose would be for interstellar travel. Unlike the space colonies, this thing can house billions instead of just millions.

Setting: Golden age for the entire world. It's gonna be a space age renaissance with much progress and development in the fields of culture, art and economy. I'm tired of post apocalyptic settings so let's take the opposite way. Space colonies and mobile suits will be reflecting this design. Instead of utilitarian design like most UC mobile suits, the mobile suits of the Lunar Century will look fancy, even flamboyant if you will. Of course, their weaponry would also be cool. From beam crossbows to scythes, beam katanas, naginatas and other forms of flashy stuff.

The interior of most space colonies look like the city of Coruscant from Star Wars.

Attitude: With this sophisticated age comes old values like Chivalry and Honor, something absent from the more gritty Gundam series out there. There will be also New Age and Spirituality ideas floating around, including the growth of Humanity as a species.

Plot: After a long YM chat, BRO's decided to bring back his old character, who was once a hero of the Dos Leviticus War. He will be the obligatory masked-bishonen of the RPG, as the leader of a faction that tries to stop the Lunar Exodus from taking place.

Mobile suits: Apart from the ones mentioned by Kara, BRO showed me a rough sketch of a feminine looking mobile suit. It appears to be a melee-oriented unit, however, no other data was revealed. Also an unnamed mono-eye mobile suit that he said was using the salvaged katana of Gundam Max-Breaker. Finally, a large warship called the Narwhal, it's most distinctive feature is a giant beam sword equipped in front of the ship. The good thing is: These mobile suits are not SD. ^^ Wooooo!

Final list of appearing mecha (Antagonist Side)

Sanctuarium
-Sanctuarium is a shadowy organization whose aim is to stop humans from leaving the Solar System. Their reason for this is unknown, however it is presumed that Cinco Antioch is the only one who knows why. His followers believe in him zealously, and will commit acts of terrorism against the Earth Space Coalition in order to attain the group's goals. One of their current objectives is the destruction of the dyson sphere called Mayari, an artificial moon bound to leave the Earth in a few months.

1. SA-29XS Mephistopheles Like a Star @ heaven

-A demonic-looking mobile suit used by the charismatic leader of the Sanctuarium, Cinco Antioch. Specialises in close combat and stealth attacks.

2. SA-06MS Hantu
-Mass-production mobile suit. Named after demons in Filipino mythology.

3. SA-18XMA Verdugo
-Spanish for "executioner", this large manta-shaped mobile armor boasts a staggering array of missiles.

4. SA-19MS Diwata
-A small, feminine looking mobile suit that specializes in bit/funnel attacks. Unit is usable only by an Ascendant pilot.
